The day's journey for many started on the Village Green at Kirk Yetolm.

Some had stayed at the Youth Hostel, others at the pub or boarding houses and a number were picked up at Kelso on our way to the start point...

Eventually our coach returned us to the point where the
 previous day's walk had finished, HarestanesVisitor Centre.
We continued our course along the St Cuthbert's Way to
our target for the day, St Boswells, initially through bluebell covered woods to pick up the course of Dere Street.
