Please note:-Walks (or rambles) usually take place on Saturdays and Sundays and the details relating to walks include transport information, the degree of difficulty and the name of the leaders of the walks. Social events are mostly on Wednesday evenings, but are not as frequent as the walks.
Club evenings are held at 7.45 pm in the Yorkshire Rider Club, 90 Sunbridge Road, Bradford.
Walk categories
The details above include various codes used to indicate the nature of the walk
or ramble, these are a rough guide and depend partly on the area, terrain,
amount of ascent and time of year.
Saturday Walks are usually = 7-10 miles,
A walks are usually = 13-17 miles,
B walks usually = 9-13 miles.
C walks are easier, or involve places of specific interest and are often suggestions rather than formally 'led' walks
....
B walks are supposed to be easier than their corresponding A walks.
In some cases the codes (L) or (C) are used, these indicate linear or circular, respectively.
