The Society was founded in
Bradford, Yorkshire, in 1897. The original scholarly aims have continued and have been combined with a desire to appeal to a wide audience. In 1997, our Centenary Year, we made the Society available on the World Wide Web so that many more of those who have an interest in the dialect of our county could enjoy what we have to offer. |
