The gallery is housed in Salts Mill which is a Grade II* listed building set in the attractive model industrial village of Saltaire, in the city of Bradford. The mill is of great historic and architectural interest.
When it was completed in 1853 it represented the peak of industrial
technology. It is fitting that principal tenants of the mill today are two
separate companies who represent the leading edge of technology,
Pace Satellite TV receivers and
Pace modems. The art of photography is
well represented, as the mill is home to PhotoFolio which is the only commercial
gallery of art photography in the North of England.
The mill also has several high quality retail tenants and a diner.
