was designed and made up of thousands of small plants
by the Parks Department of Leeds City Council.



Pudsey Bear is the National Mascot of the BBC "CHILDREN IN NEED"
campaign and was designed by Joanna Ball, a graphic artist, for the BBC.
What is the connection with Pudsey, the town ?
The artist's Grandfather, Alderman Irvine Ball, was a past Mayor of the Borough of Pudsey, and she was Pudsey born and bred hence the name 'PUDSEY BEAR'.
