station is back on air again today.
For the
next month Radio Grangefield will be part of the local scene.The station, run
by students at
Pudsey Grangefield School, is 16 years old later in
this year.

An hour of relaxing music from around
the world starts off each afternoon and then, after City Beat at 4
p.m....
... it's your chance to ring in
during the Request Programme between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. That number

'Grangefield Gold' completes each day's broadcasts and this
is your chance to hear the Pudsey Grangefield Staff in action as deejays! They
do not want to spoil the fun by telling you who is on
. You'll have to
tune in between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. to find out!
As you will see, it's going to be a busy four weeks - but an
enjoyable one. It's a chance for students to experience the world of
broadcasting in a real setting. There will be people across the city listening
to us and we hope to provide some excellent programmes.
Grangefield students are not to be
left out either
. At the last count they had someone from every year
group
totaling 120! We've got radio drama, quizzes, living history, live
music, match reports, trip reports
.
You name it and it's
on 106.6FM!
And don't forget other local schools between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. and then again
between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m
