Air Cadets aim high with auction
   

On Thursday 14th November 2002 2387 (Pudsey) Squadron of the Air Training Corp will be holding a Grand Charity Auction at the Royal British Legion, Robin Lane, Pudsey. Doors open at 7.30pm for viewing, with an 8.00pm start....... All welcome.

The auction is to raise valuable funds to support our activities training and supporting young men and women of Pudsey, Farsley and East Bradford.

Lots include

  • 4ft signed picture of the Bradford Bulls team
  • Seats for 2 in an executive box at Leeds United
  • Personal Computer
  • Meals for 4
  • Jewellery
  • 1 hour pleasure flight in a light aircraft
  • ......and more

Many local companies who have generously donated lots for auction.

An auction catalogue will be available on the night for £1.

The air Training Corp is open to boys and girls aged 13 to 21. This is a voluntary youth organisation and its aims are:

  1. To promote and encourage among young people a practical interest in aviation and the Royal Air Force.
  2. To provide training which will be useful both in the services and in civilian life.
  3. To foster the spirit of adventure and to develop the qualities of leadership and good citizenship.


    2387 (Pudsey) Squadron meet on Monday and Thursday evenings, 7:00 to 9:00, at Thornbury Barracks, Pudsey.
